Hotel Shilla

The Shilla Duty Free global online shopping mall UX/UI consulting and integrated re-building

FRUM aided in the overhaul of Hotel Shilla’s duty-free business’ e-commerce system through a next-generation online project, in response to the rapidly growing duty-free market.

We conducted several different forms of global user experience research to improve the experience of online duty-free customers and used this to determine the direction for improvement. In addition, based on an all-around user journey analysis that includes user visits, searching, ordering, payment and delivery, we established a strategy for improvement and designed the UX/UI and processes to enhance customer convenience as well as company performance.

Through this, we were able to significantly improve the satisfaction of a personalized shopping experience and fix any unnecessary processes.

UX Concept

Based on “The pleasant moment,” the brand identity of The Shilla Duty Free, we derived the UX concept of “Smart Concierge,” a premium shopping experience that is fast, smart and interesting, and designed the UX/UI by applying it to both desktop and mobile websites.
