Establishment of online communication strategy and platform

Hyundai Motor Group needed to respond quickly to the rapidly changing online environment, including the explosive growth of users on social media. FRUM comprehensively planned an online communication strategy based on brand journalism, revamped the group’s official website, and established and integrated the operation of a total of 10 official online channels, including blogs and social media channels.

We derived the concept of HARMONY for public-friendly communication and built an integrated online communication system that links the company’s PR blog, its social hub, to the various social media channels. Also, we established organic governance so as to quickly respond to major public relations issues both inside and outside the group, and comprehensively planned, executed and operated various social campaigns to engage the public with our communication content.

Through the establishment of a total of 10 official online communication channels and stable channel operation based on a systematic communication strategy and an operational governance system, we were able to help the group achieve a 33-fold growth in just 6 months compared to the first quarter of 2014. Based on our close partnership with Hyundai Motor Group, FRUM is leading change in the online paradigm that matches the group’s status as a top global company by listening to the public and using a story that the public can relate to.
