Global expansion of Samsung.com in 59 countries/66 websites/32 languages

With the development of digital technology, the corporate business market is maturing and the needs of corporate customers are gradually becoming fragmented. Against this backdrop, companies needed a strategic shift from simply selling products to becoming a provider of solutions optimized for corporate customer needs.

Based on matured brand credibility, Samsung Electronics established a strategy to strengthen corporate business capabilities and implemented the building of the Samsung.com B2B web.

FRUM was responsible for designing the user experience, and so integrated Samsung’s scattered B2B websites into a single Samsung.com platform with the aim of providing a unique customer experience. We improved the information architecture centered around the solution, and presented an integrated UI model optimized for 59 countries, through the establishment of a UI standard model based on business requirements. Based on the core function design for online sales lead generation, we laid the foundation for the future of B2B online sales.

After the global expansion of 66 websites in 59 countries, traffic increased up to 5 times in each country, and the number of marketing collateral downloads per country also increased dramatically. With the online marketing platform, Samsung.com, as its base, Samsung Electronics will further grow as a leading global company by continuously expanding into corporate markets.
