KEB Hana Bank

Visual identity planning/design

A new passbook for KEB Hana Bank, a joint project between FRUM and KEB Hana Bank, was issued. The KEB Hana Bank passbook, which was redone for the first time in six years after its last re-design in 2007, was designed so that the characteristics of each account could be identified at a glance through unique colors and pictograms, applying a new visual system unique to KEB Hana Bank.

This new design emphasizes the clear communication of information, for example, by using arrows in random directions for deposit and withdrawal accounts, a tree with ripening fruit for savings accounts, and a graph that represents the growth of the financial market for collective investment securities accounts.

These new pictograms are being widely used not only for the passbooks but also in window signage, motion graphics, etc. for the Hana Bank to effectively deliver its new visual identity of “global, smart, and warm” to the customers.
